Golf is a game played with 9 or 18 holes spread across an outdoor course. The object of the game is to hit a small ball with a variety of sticks ("clubs") into each hole with as few strokes as possible.
Originally played in Scotland, golf has now become a worldwide game. Golf competitions may be played as stroke play, stableford points play, or match play. Other forms of golf include fourball, miniature golf, sholf, and frisbee golf.
